Look for activity on 146.58FM starting 10am Saturday. From there folks
move around making contacts as suggested below. 90% of the action is
from 1800-2200UTC on Saturday with a few folks working off and on
through the entire event.
No SSB? No problem, we use FM on every band as well as SSB. One
contact per band per station per grid. So any rovers will be giving out
at least 2 grids we hope.
Keep a log if your going to submit your contacts. If your not
contesting then at least come up on a contest frequency and give out
your contact info for others. Call sign and Grid Square.
Anchorage (at least most of it) is BP51, out past the airport on the
inlet your actually in the Valley grid of BP41, if you talk to one of
the Kenai Stations they will be BP40 or BP50 depending where they are.
Manage to log someone to the north of Wasilla, like Talkeetna and its
BP42. Every contact has to give you the call sign and Maidenhead Grid
Square (location) else the contact will not count.
