[KL7AA] February AARC Club Meeting Speaker/Topic

Hi all,

 

I am the new Activities Chair for the club and I wanted to give you all a
heads up on this month's meeting on February 7 at the normal location on the
APU Campus (if you don't know the way the directions are on the club website
www.kl7aa.net) 

 

As many of you are aware, the Anchorage Amateur Radio Club is an ARRL
affiliated club, and this year is the League's 100th anniversary.  We will
have an ARRL sponsored video commemorating the event, and also update the
group on the upcoming Alaska Shield event which TJ briefed us on last month.

 

The club traditionally provides door prizes, and we will be giving out
several ARRL Centennial items including a new 2014 Centennial Amateur Radio
Handbook, a 100th anniversary mug and patch, and an emergency LED light to
line up with our ARES mission.
