Mara Club:
I am working with a youngster, 12 years old, who is doing a report on
radio; ham radio.
I wonder if anyone has one or two extra old radios to give away or allow 
us to borrow for 2 months? It does not have to be a ham transceiver and 
in fact a short-wave radio would be best. He needs it for his project 
display. Battery or 110 volt power will work with or without headphones 
but on speaker so others may listen in during his presentation.

Also any ideas for a poster about 2’ x 3’ to go on the table for his
background?

If you have additional ideas they would be greatly appreciated. I live
in Wasilla and able to meet at our MARA Membership Meeting in Willow on
Saturday Feb. 23 or ask for you to stop by my place near Wendy’s.
