And your point? Wouldn't that be a great coincide? I think it would.

Sounds like an interesting concept for a QSO Party/Special Event.maybe could
coincide with Alaska Statehood Day.

It is probably unknown to most people, even Alaskan, that Alaska has 16
organized Boroughs and 0ne "unorganized" which is the balance of the State.
The attachment list the organized Boroughs and the principle cities within
the unorganized.

There might be a scheme here, similar to lower 48 county hunting, to make an
Alaska QSO party and (well, kinda/sorta) educate the lower 48 (even us too)
and have fun too. See how many, and I wonder about my own contacts KL7
people have actually worked how many of the Boroughs/Cities. This might
even encourage some incentive for more mobile operation now that propagation
is coming out of the doldrums. I do quite a bit of driving on the
Alaska-Yukon Territory and I am getting set up for mobile operation.

My mobile operations would hit about half the unorganized cities and a bunch
of the organized boroughs.

Yours truly for a "Worked All Alaska"

Blaine G. Berg KL7TG
