Can anyone help Larry on 60 meters? I have the antenna but I have too
much local noise to do any good.

Larry let's see if Jim Larsen, AL7FS, can help or maybe he will know of
someone who can. Jim do you know anyone up in Alaska that can work
channel 2 on 60m?

Just a quick note to let you know I am still plugging away at
200 grids on 60 meters. This week I also worked NG7M in UT. and
K0LU in ND for the last states I needed in the lower 48 so now all I
need is Ak. and am trying to find some one up there to run a sked
with. Both ND and UT were worked via skeds . Summer time is not a
good time for 60 meters but after 0300 utc and on the gray lines it
is possible to make some good contacts. I am planning this summer
to improve my receive antenna setup and also the monster which lives
in my back yard called " the vertical ". The west coast really is
coming in fb late at night but alas they seem to hang out on channel
4 and with the short overs, giving callsigns after long periods of
rag chewing they are hard to work down there. Ok Jay, 60 meters is
still alive and well, even in the summer qrn 73 and good dxing-
