[KL7AA] ARRL Alaska Convention - BBQ on the Park Strip

To kick off the ARRL Alaska Convention, we will be having a BBQ on the 
Anchorage Park Strip on Friday, August 1, 2008.

  The BBQ will be located between L Street and I Street near the Veteran's 
Memorial.

Costs: $15 per person

(included in Full Registration payment)

SCHEDULE of EVENTS

5:00 PM  BBQ OPENS

Raffle Prizes will be offered at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 PM

8:00 PM  TRANSMITTER HUNT

Your BBQ Ticket will be your Raffle Ticket.

All participants must have a ticket to get food and enter the raffle drawing.

MENUS will include:

Tri-Salad, Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Wild Alaskan Seafood, Chips, Corn on the 
Cob, Veggie Tray, Green Salad, Cake, Cheesecake, Reindeer Hotdogs, 
Hamburgers, Buffalo Burgers

PARKING

Parking is available on 10th Avenue.  Please do not park in the Church 
parking lots, your vehicle may be towed.


We will have some chairs and tables available however to help accommodate 
the great turnout, please consider bringing a chair or two with you for 
your seating pleasure, make sure you put your name and call sign on them.
