Here is the current roster for booth volunteers.  We still have some
openings, but they are going fast.

 

 

Alaska State Fair 2008 Amateur Radio Booth Roster

Volunteers for the full day are provided admission and parking or a ride on
the APV shuttle (save your gas).  The Alaska Professional Volunteers will be
running a shuttle from Anchorage to the Fair and back each day of the Fair
in the morning and evening.  This shuttle is only available to HAMs who are
working a full day in the booth.  Please contact KL7CY to reserve a seat and
get the schedule and pickup point.  

 

Three HAMs Scheduled for each day, so two are on duty at a time, and the
other can walk around, shop, eat or whatever.  All Hams are welcome to come
and help and visit for any part of the day.  A private outhouse will be
provided behind the booth for volunteers.
