DIRECTIONS:

Coming from Anchorage on the Sterling Highway you enter into Soldotna down 
a hill and pass by Fred Meyers on the left and AK USA Credit Union on the 
right.  Stay on the Sterling Hwy straight thru the first couple traffic 
lights.  In a few blocks you will pass by Safeway and McDonald’s on your 
right and go across The Kenai River (road construction at bridge). 
Kalifornsky Beach Road is on your right at the next traffic light.  Turn 
right at the light onto Kalifornsky Beach Road and continue for about 
3-miles till you reach Cook Inlet Academy on your left - This is the 
Hamfest location.  500 feet before the Academy look for a sign printed with 
"HAMFEST" indicating you are near.

$4 CASH Admission/Door Prizes.

Grand prize Kenwood TH-K2AT handheld radio!
     Must be present to Win!
         Winner will be selected about 4:30 pm.


HamFest Swap Meet.
     Bring your stuff to sell.
         $10 for selling fee (which includes $4 admission for one person).
             Table setup 9 to 10 AM.
                  Cash only for admission and table fee.

PROGRAM:
* 12:00 noon--Presentation on "Rotators: Installation & Repair", by 
Richard 	Strand KL7RA
*  1:00-2:30 pm--VE Amateur Radio License Testing.
*  3:00 pm-- Demo of software defined radio by Ed Cole KL7UW
*  Time TBA --Informal Meeting of the Alaska VHF-Up Group
*  ALL DAY --Kenai Borough Mobile Emergency Van - viewing by the public
