[KL7AA] Fur Rondy Dog Race, call for HAMs for checkpoints

The North American Championship Sled Dog Race is scheduled for Friday,
Saturday and Sunday, February 23, 24, and 25.  Note that this is the same
weekend as the Junior Iditarod.  The race runs from Noon to about 5PM all
three days.  The 146.97 repeater will be used.  All but one of the
checkpoints can be driven to and about half of them can be worked from a
mobile.  The rest require a handheld.  The minimum staff is 14 HAMs on all
three days.  We'll also need a couple of alternates and relief operators.
Warm clothing, spare battery and a headset are also appropriate for this
event. Bring your own snacks and coffee too.   Contact John Lynn at

map to all replies so you can pick the checkpoint you want, first come first
served.
