Helpers needed.
I need the assistance of a few helpers to do pre-assembly work on the Code
Practice kits we are putting together for the Girl Scouts. I can show you
what needs to be done in just a couple of minutes. The work is easy (nothing
difficult, dirty, or heavy) and involves producing parts for about 250-275
kits, such as drilling small holes in strips of aluminum, attaching crimp lugs
to battery holders, soldering wires to lamp sockets, and preparing different
lengths of hook-up wire. I have the tools and the materials, all I need are
some willing bodies.
Even an hour would be great, the whole job will probably take about 10 to 15
person-hours. No one is expected to do it all, and it does not have to get
done on the same day. 3 or 4 of us working together over two or three days
can do the trick. More volunteers, less time for everyone, I cannot, and
will not, do it by myself.
This project gets our clubs some of the best PR of anything we do. The look
on those little gal's faces makes all the effort worthwhile.
