Dale Heater, NL7J / SK

It is with a very sad heart that I pass along the news that Dale Heater, NL7J,
passed away this evening May 3, 2005 at 6:10 pm. Dale was not only a friend
and great help to many of us in the Ham community, but he did an awful lot for
other radio operators as well. He will be sorely missed by a lot of folks. He
was just 69 years old as QRZ lists his birth date as Feb. 17, 1936. Please
remember his wife MARY, WL7QI, his son Paul, WL7CSU, and the rest of his family
in your prayers.

For over 10 years Dale has worked with his best friend Jim Shreeve in an
excavating business, and it was Jim’s wife Vicki, that asked me to pass this on
to the Ham community. Many of you may have met Big Jim as he attended more
than one Hamfest with Dale. At one time I thought he was about to get his Ham
Radio license. If you have any questions, please call Jim and Vicki at
696-4949.

Thank you,
Dan O’Barr, KL7DR
