Ken (for APDST) and Jim (for ARES)

I JUST got this message. They need victims tomorrow to go through the
triage and first response exercise that DHHS is working. I know this is
short notice, but then that’s the nature of emergencies and we do hold
ourselves out as “emergency first responders”. If you could get this
out on your respective email reflectors we will have done what we can do
for this evening.

Thanks so much.

Dick, APDST S-58

To all:

I know this is short notice, but DHHS could use some volunteers on
Thursday to participate in a simulated bioterrorism event.

A “clinic” will be run at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts
(ACPA) from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. They need participants to come through
the clinic during those hours. They will enter the Center through the
5th Avenue side on the 2nd Level and exit on the 2nd Level, 6th Ave.
side. They will be using DHHS staff to work the clinic.

If there are people who want to volunteer to work, they MUST report to
Logistics Section, Staff Support Unit at the Staff Check-in Area at the
APCA at 12:30 for an assignment. This will be marked.

It’s short notice, but if you could contact your members DHHS would be
very appreciative! Thanks!

Mary
