I guess the definition of modesty is recognizing one's limits.
Climbing my 50 foot Rohn 45 was not a problem years ago, but an
emotional problem has my brain crippled now. It is solidly mounted to
the house at 20 feet, so is steady, but......
I need to pull down my broken A4S and put up my new SteppIR 3
Element yagi. I have a nice tower stand right above the rotator, but my
nerves just won't let me go the rest of the way up. I have a pulley
mounted at the top of the mast, and a loop of rope through it to attach
a longer one for things like this. I just need someone who will do the
top work for me. The SteppIR is ready to go up, all I need is an hour
preliminary to mount the fiberglass elements. I MAY need a PL259
soldered onto the RG8 at the top as I think my A4S was directly mounted
to the conductors.
If anyone has some time, I would certainly appreciate it. Please
forgive me for losing my nerves - baby!
