our lives, I forward this email concerning the Alaska Computer Society PC

Please forward the following meeting announcement to anyone who may be
interested.

Alaska Computer Society PC Users Group
Thursday, April 14, 2005 7:00 P.M.
Carr Gottstein Building on the APU Campus

Local computer expert, Joel Graebe, will give a demonstration of OpenOffice
v2.0 beta, a freeware alternative to MS Office.  The demonstration will
include importing MS Office formatted documents, exporting MS Office
formatted documents, simple formatting, and printing to PDF. Approximately
25 CD-ROMs of the free software will be available. Joel is the Director of
Computer and Language Training with the Older Persons Action Group.

Also, Robert Sprowl, our computer security guru, will inform us about the
latest security updates.
