Evening John
EchoLink has a lot of potential. I've heard stories of hams who have,
unfortunately, become "shut ins" because of their age or the retirement home they
are in does not allow antennas and the like. Their radios either gone or in the
case of hand helds, batteries shot and the sitting in the drawer collecting dust.
With EchoLink they have been able to get back on the air with their old friends and
carry on. Just one example of its potential.
