Subject: AARC Meeting tonight at 7PM

Hello again,

Because of the delayed AARC meeting, I am risking your wrath for
duplicate messages to be sure those in my email list know of the
meeting. And I couldn't tell from the address block if the message
below went to the KL7AA list.

This month is going to be Lynn Hammond talking about QRP DX. He has
over 160 countries now with his Yaesu FT-817 rig at 5 watts or less. And
he does not have monster beams and towers. I am sure looking forward
to hearing how he did it and he doesn't even have a narrow CW
filter...uses his ears as a filter or some such technique.

We need you there also to vote on a very exciting new project...a
Susitna Repeater. Any idea how high THAT antenna will be? :-)

See you there.
73, Jim

To all AARC and SCRC members -

Just a reminder -

The SCRC meeting tonight will be held at the APU campus in joint
session with AARC. 7 PM in the Carr-Gottstein building on APU
campus.

AARC Members - we will be voting tonight on funding for the
Susitna repeater project. Your vote is necessary. It's
summertime - we have a hard time getting enough voters for a
quorum sometimes during these months of nice weather, so please
PLEASE come to the meeting. If funding is not approved for this
project, we may not be able to complete installation this year
(before the snow flies!!!). This is the most exciting and vital
new project on our agenda for the entire year. Your vote is
crucial.

Thanks and 73
