[Kenwood] Bad TS-820S mic gain control

Ahoy! I recently acquired a TS-820S in mostly nice condition. It needs some work, but one thing I don’t think I can fix is a bad mic gain control, VR5-1, 10kohm, part nr RO8.3912.15. The shaft feels loose and turns freely with no stops. This unit is a dual control with VR5-2 carrier level, also 10kohm, that works OK.
