[Kenwood] Inrad filter for R-5000 receiver question

Hello to the group

I have a chance to get an Inrad 4kc plugin filter. I already have the
upgraded 6kc Inrad filter installed and I want to keep it.

Question: If the 4kc filter was removed from its board, could it be then
wired into an empty optional filter slot in the receiver. I'm thinking that
the stock 2.4kc narrow filter would have to be moved down the filter line
and the 4kc installed in its place.

I'm trying to obtain 6kc and 4kc bandwidths.
