[Kenwood] TM-D700

Looking at recently-sold TM-D700A transceivers sold on eBay to the US
market:
*	$400 (included free shipping, Garmin GPS & cables, Programming s/w &
cable
*	$400 + $36 shipping ("excellent" condition,  only briefly in
vehicle, then moved to shack)
*	$240 + $4 shipping ("very good" condition, was mounted mobile)
*	$250 + $4 shipping (similar to above)

I love my (old) D700 and have no plans to sell it, but the $400 feels a
little high to me, though at least the first one had some extras including
free shipping.  But, it was worth that to those 2 buyers.  

I have found it is worth your time to put a radio like back into service and
actually operate it.  Then, if everything works, you can honestly claim it
works in the description.  That usually makes a difference to bidders,
because you are placing your eBay feedback rating on the line.  

If you cannot claim it works, only that you think it does, you will most
likely sell it for less, in some cases quite a bit less.  People are forced
to assume it likely does not work.
