I still have a few parts left from parting out a TS-440. The following are presently available: Front panel PC board (includes digital display, S meter, push buttons, etc., including the metal work that it is all mounted to) $50 Front plastic panel $15 A flock of internal cables I also have some other minor parts. Please let me know what you need, and we can go from there. . Kenwood Heavy Duty Weighted Tuning Knob K-21: This knob is a special tuning knob, about 2 1/4 inches in diameter, so just right for most Kenwood rigs. It is weighted, so one can give it a spin, and it continues to go. This one looks perfect, and is still in its plastic bag. Only $80. . I have a set of three crystals that are used to return the Kenwood Hybrid rigs to 10 meters, after they have had the original crystals changed to 11 meters. Specifically, they are HC-25 crystals for 33.50, 34.00, and 34.50 MHz. They are labeled as being for the TS-820, but I think all of the hybrids use the same frequencies. These crystals are $12 each, or $35 for the set of three. . Linear Amp Switching Cables for Kenwood Rigs: This cable goes from a Kenwood transceiver to a linear amplifier to switch the amp from transmit to receive. One end has a DIN connector, as is used with most Kenwood rigs. The other end has an RCA phono plug, as used by most linear amplifiers. Before using this cable, please check the switching capabilities of your transceiver, and the requirements of your amplifier. Cable for switching the T/R relay Only $15. Cable as above, but with ALC line in addition to T/R switching. $20 . Microphone Cables for Heil and TenTec Mics: These cables can be used with the TenTec Regal 707, or with many of the Heil microphones (all of them that use an XLR-4 connector, which is most of them), and likely others. XLR-4 to round 8 pin connector wired for TenTec/Yaesu, about 8 feet long. $25 XLR-4 to round 8 pin connector wired for Kenwood, about 8 feet long. $25 . I sold the radio years ago, and just recently found the manual. If anyone wants the manual, I will gladly mail it to the first to request it. No charge, no strings. The only stipulation is that due to postage costs, this offer is only for those in the USA and its possessions. 73, Ken, KJ9B From tonyhill at shaw.ca Sun Nov 22 21:08:52 2020 From: tonyhill at shaw.ca (Tony Hill) Date: Sun, 22 Nov 2020 18:08:52 -0800 Subject: [Kenwood] Unsubscribe Message-ID: <03a901d6c13d$9c746d50$d55d47f0$@ca> Could you please remove Tonyhill at shaw.ca (VE7CNW) from your mailing list. But, it was worth that to those 2 buyers. I have found it is worth your time to put a radio like back into service and actually operate it. Then, if everything works, you can honestly claim it works in the description. That usually makes a difference to bidders, because you are placing your eBay feedback rating on the line. If you cannot claim it works, only that you think it does, you will most likely sell it for less, in some cases quite a bit less. People are forced to assume it likely does not work. This cable for use with Kenwood TM-271A and TM-281A radios. It is in the original box. According to a couple of web sites I have checked, this cable is going for in excess of $100 now. I paid $50 plus shipping for it several years ago. I will be willing to sell it for $50, including USPS Priority Mail shipping to US addresses. Let me know if you're interested in getting this cable for half its current price. 73, Ken, KJ9B
