[Kenwood] Kenwood TH-215A

I have an old TH-215A HT and everything is working except transmit.  It looks like it is transmitting but there seems to be no power output from the antenna.  Any suggestions on what to check, or possible repair (I have an electronics background)?  I suspect the final RF stage is bad because when I transmit and if I have another radio nearly on the same frequency it does pick up my signal.  Just no power out the RF antenna, cannot hit a repeater, etc.  Thx, Alex
