I recently got hold of a R-5000 and would like to upgrade the wide AM filter. I've seen the 6kc plugin filter available from Inrad, but also wired in type original filters on eBay which are much more affordable. Can I use the wired in YK-88A filter on the existing AM board, or is the plugin type the only way to go. Thanks guys.
