[Kenwood] TR-7730 PL pick point

     I know this is now probably something nobody has touched in YEARS..,

But I'm adding a ComSpec tone board to a TR-7730 2M rig.

The owner's manual has a crude diagram as to where to grab switched 12 
volts to power the board....from a small circuit board right behind the

PL on/off button.

Supposed to be there, but I've probed around and can't find ANY spot 
where 12 volts is at all on that board....let alone switched with the PL 
on/off button.


Anyone "been there, done that"....if perhaps even a quarter century ago??
