Hi-
I just bought a slightly used TS-570D. CW & SSB work fine.
I’d like to hook it up to a SDR receiver (HDSDR RSPplay RSP2 and use it to follow the tuning of the 570D. I expect that the rigs I.F. of 8.83MHZ is close enough to use that signal as the input signal. Before I tear into it I thought maybe someone can shorten my time in finding the I.F. output spot. I see it on the schematic (between Q14 and Q38, at the output of the AM, CW, SSB filters on the TX-Rx unit) but where will I head side the rig? Top or bottom?
Also, I’d like to hook it up to do digi modes. Is there an option to connect the Tx audio to the mic jack and receive audio to the 1/8” speaker jack on the rear? Or, maybe in finding one of the accessory jack cables?
Thanks for any comments.
