That’s fine.. And digikey has them in stock which is good to know...

BUT what about the older rigs that use the 6 pin connector... That is what 
the discussions was originally about.

During a rebuild from the small AWG wire used on the DC pwr cable I found
that the 4 pin DC power connector is made by JST which is the OEM connector
that Kenwood uses.

The Connector is: VLP-04V
The retainer is: VLS-02V
and the pin (Female) is: SVF-81T-P2.0
