[Kenwood] Power Plug Pin Sizes

I checked what the major ham gear distributors are selling re: 6 Pin  power 
plugs to replace the OEM style that Kenwood supplied with their radios.  
HRO and Gigaparts sell this 6 pin Molex-style male plug that is designed  to 
mate with all the Jap rigs. They're made by PowerWerx, Model No. HF6,   
@$4.99 each. Comes with the crimp pins, housing and black rubber boot. If  
they're good enough to be sold by  HRO and GigaParts, I have a feeling  they'll 
work just fine. If you have  $$$ invested in a terrific HF  transceiver like a 
TS-850, why are you using cheap aftermarket DC  connectors anyway?

And the Chinese knockoffs do fit, but you have to find  the RIGHT ones.

of what is sold by Quick Silver and others are not  the correct pins. I

not tried the cables from the fellow that sells  on QTH.com to see if they 
are the correct size pins.

The Japanese mfgs used their version of a  "Molex" plug. The pins are not
the same as the US version and don't match.  The US uses either .062 or
.093 pins and the Japanese is in the middle and  won't work with either.
