I also agree that Cliff is the man. About 10 years ago I bought a used TS-440S and emailed Cliff to see if he could check it out for me. He said if it's working leave it alone. But I persisted and sent him my radio anyway. He went through the alignment on it and checked it out thoroughly.  The  radio has been working perfectly ever since.   

If I ever have a problem with any of my Kenwood radios, he will be the first person I will call.
