Kenwood TS-711, multimode 2 meter transceiver:

This unit is an FM, SSB, and CW transceiver for 2 meters. It
has 40 memory channels, and up to 25 Watts of output power,
which is continuously variable (no Hi or Low switch, but a
front panel control to continuously vary power). Of course
it will scan, and do the things one expects in a 2 meter rig.
It has a GASFET in the front end for one of the best receivers
I have ever used. The 120 V AC power supply as well as 13 V DC,
is built in. The case looks very similar to a TS-440 or TS-450
HF rig.

This particular unit is in good shape. It has the optional
TU-5 subaudible tone PL encoder in it, so it can be used with
modern repeaters.
Power cord and mic are included, with paper work for $375.

Kenwood Crystal Filters For Sale:

Kenwood YK-88 C 1 "Plug In" Crystal Filter

This filter is 500 Hz wide, for CW or narrow digital.
This is a "plug in filter" as opposed to the type that must
be soldered in. It is used in rigs such as the TS-450, TS-570,
TS-690, TS-850, TS-930, TS-940, TS-950, and others.

This is for the 8.83 MHz IF; it works 100% and looks like new.
Paper work is included for $70.

Kenwood YK-88 S Crystal Filter:

This is a "solder in" type filter used on rigs such as the
TS-120, TS-130, TS-430, TS-440, and others of this era.
It is 2.4 KHz wide and used for SSB.

It works 100%, and includes paper work for $55.

Linear Amp Switching Cables for Kenwood Rigs:

This cable goes from a Kenwood transceiver to a linear
amplifier to switch the amp from transmit to receive.

One end has a DIN connector, as is used with most Kenwood
rigs. The other end has an RCA phono plug, as used by most
linear amplifiers.

Before using this cable, please check the switching
capabilities of your transceiver, and the requirements
of your amplifier.

Kenwood TSU-6 CTCSS Tone Encoder/Decoder:

Many transceivers, both mobile and HTs, either have
no subaudible CTCSS PL tones in them, or they may
have an encoder only.

If you need both encode and decode, it may be that
you need the TSU-6, depending on your rig.

The TSU-6 is made to work with the TH-25, TH-45, and
TH-55 series HTs and probably others. It also works
with the TM-231, TM-701, TM-702, TM-721, TM-731 and
likely other mobile rigs.

This one works fine. Since it installs internally,
cosmetics is a non-issue.

Kenwood KPS-7 Power Supply:

The Kenwood KPS-7 is a linear power supply, as opposed
to a switching type. This means it will not produce
noise in your receiver.

It is rated for 6 Amperes continuous duty and 7 Amperes
ICS at 13.8 V DC. This makes it ideal for 2 meter or
dual band rigs. As an additional bonus, it is designed
so that the rig can set on top of the power supply,
making a nice compact package. Of course it can be
used with any type rig -- it does not need to be a
Kenwood.

This one works 100% and looks very nice. Only $40

Kenwood MC-43 Hand Microphone:

The Kenwood MC-43 is the hand mic that comes with
most of the Kenwood rigs when bought new. It has
the round 8 pin connector on it, and is a dynamic
microphone, so it does not need a polarizing voltage
as an electret mic does.

In addition to the PTT switch, there are up and down
buttons on the top to change the frequency.

This one is works 100%, and looks like new. $40

Kenwood 4 pin hand mic

This mic has no number on it, but is like the mic used
on the TS-700, TR-7400, and other rigs of this era.
It should work with most any Kenwood rig needing
a 4 pin connector.

Kenwood Power Cables

Power Cable with 6 pin Molex plug on one end as used by most
HF rigs, and many others, and stripped/tinned ends on the
other end. Very good condition.  $22

Kenwood PG-2 N
This is the power cable that has a "T" connector on one end
as is used with most 2 meter, 440 MHz and dual band rigs.
This one is new, still in its original packing.
HRO sells these for $18.  Buy this one for only $13.
