That's the unit that bolts onto the bottom of the radio. There were a couple of them up on Ebay a couple of weeks ago, but I paid no attention to them as I didn't know I needed one then. Now I need one, and there are none on there. It has to come from an SDX---a unit from an SD will not work. Does anyone out there have one that they want to sell, or know where I can obtain one ??? Any help would be much appreciated. I am toying with the idea of getting a pre-owned TS-990S. What are the pros & cons that you have experienced with this radio ??? Are there serial number ranges that I should avoid ???
