try and see if anyone on the Kenwood List might know how to contact him or
would be willing to contact him.)


 John C. Kimbrough, WR3S, of Murfreesboro, TN repaired  a Kenwood 430S that
I sent to his place of business, Advanced Communications in Nashville.

I paid him via  Visa Debit Card thru PayPal.  He texted me on 31 Oct that
he sent it via UPS on 30 Oct . He said he would text me the UPS tracking
number the next day. I never received the rig nor did he text me the UPS
tracking  number. He no longer responds to texts or calls to his cell or
home phones  He last lived in Murfreesboro,TN



I'm hoping that someone on this list might know John or how to contact him
and possibly would be willing to contact him for me. Since he's not
responding to me, maybe he would to someone else. In the process of trying
tyo contact him, other  hams in his area have said they have heard he may
be sick with cancer. His shop is closed but still takes messages on the
phone.  I don't wish hi, any ill, and hope he recovers his health if he is
sick. All I want to do is get my radio back, even if it was not  repaired

him and find out the status of my rig. All I want to do is get my rig
returned, even if it was not repaired, so I can have someone else repair
it. He does not respond to my contacts so maybe he would from someone else.
In trying to contact him  other hams in his area suggested he may be sick
with cancer. His shop is closed. I wish him well and hope he recovers his
health if he is sick, but I just want to find out what happened with my
rig. It cost me $350 to b buy it used. I paid him $250 m so I am out the
money and have no rig.

I relate all this to see if anyone on this list knows John and would
conract him for me. I justwant my  my rig back. I paid $250 to John for
the  repair. I bought ir used for $350.  I have contacted my bank
