This remote VFO permits one to transceive from the VFO or to work split with it. An RIT is also included. This one has a smooth dial, and functions well. Cosmetically, it is in extremely good condition. As with most of these VFOs, it was missing the cable to connect the VFO to the transceiver. I have a cable that I used to test it that can have its stripped and tinned ends put into the sockets on the VFO and rig. There is no plug on either end. Paper work is included for $100. Kenwood Crystal Filters: Kenwood YK-88 S 1 Crystal Filter: This filter is 2400 Hz wide. This is a "plug in filter" as opposed to the type that must be soldered in. It is used in rigs such as the TS-450, TS-570, TS-690, TS-850, TS-930, TS-940, TS-950, and others. It is for the 8.83 MHz IF. It works fine and looks like new. Paperwork is included for $75. Kenwood YK-88 SN This is the "solder in" type filter that is used in the TS-130, TS-430, TS-440, TS-530, TS-830, R-5000, and many others. It is 1800 Hz wide making it ideal for narrow SSB, but also for digital modes. It works fine and looks like new. $70 Kenwood MC-85 Desk Mic "Tech Special": It looks like the silent key was working on repair of this when he passed. All parts appear to be present, plus the addition of a couple extra up/down switches. $45 Kenwood MC-85 Deluxe Desk Microphone Parts: The Kenwood MC-85 will take up to three mic cords, i.e. it is capable of being used on three rigs. Extra cable to go from MC-85 to a Kenwood 4 pin connector, as is used on the TS-520, TS-820, TS-120, TS-130, etc. $20 DC Power Cable: This is the heavy duty power cable as used on most of the Kenwood HF rigs, plus also many Icom, Alinco, and others. It has the 6 pin molex connector, with four pins used - two for plus and two for ground. It looks good, and of course works fine. $22 Linear Amp Switching Cables for Kenwood Rigs: This cable goes from a Kenwood transceiver to a linear amplifier to switch the amp from transmit to receive. One end has a DIN connector, as is used with most Kenwood rigs. The other end has an RCA phono plug, as used by most linear amplifiers. Before using this cable, please check the switching capabilities of your transceiver, and the requirements of your amplifier. Cable for switching the T/R relay. Only $15. Cable as above, but with ALC line in addition to T/R switching. $22 Kenwood "Extension Feet": This is a set of two feet that are often used on various Kenwood rigs to raise the front by about 1/2 inch to give a rig, speaker, remote VFO, etc. the tilt that makes it easier to read. This is a complete set of two front feet, with the needed hardware. I have a couple sets available for $15 each. Heath "SB Line" Extension Feet: This is a set of all four feet as used on most of the Heath SB line included transceivers, speakers, amplifiers, etc. It consists of the two shorter feet for the back, and two taller feet for the front, plus hardware for all. $20 Code Key and Cables for code keys and paddles: Cable for straight key About 3 feet long, with a mono 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) phone plug on it, as used with a straight key. $5 As above, but 1/4 inch plug. $5 Cable for paddles About 3 feet long, with a 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) stereo connector on the end, as used by most rigs for paddles. $8 As above, but 1/4 inch plug. $8 As above, but 1/4 inch plug and coiled cord. $10 I also have many other accessories of many different brands available. Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests. Prices do not include shipping from Florida. For used gear in general, I usually start at half the new price and maybe negotiate up a bit from there depending on how much I want it. Ebay has thrown a bit of a rock into that plan, though... say what you will about ebay but they do sort of define the market to some degree. So, a good start, as John said, would be to investigate previous "sold" prices on ebay. It has DTSS and pager functions, 280 memory channels plus the ability to receive two frequencies on the same band. Other features include S-meter squelch, time-out timer, dimmer, auto power-off and supplied MC-53DM backlit DTMF mic. There is a 6 pin mini DIN connector to facilitate 1200/9600 bps packet hook-up. Features: 280 Memories Dual Display DTMF Hand Mic Visual Scan Dual Receive on same band Auto Repeater Offset Auto Simplex Checker DTSS Selective Call PL Decode/Encode Packet 1200/9600 DIN 50/10/5 Watts RF Output This unit works fine. It has so many features it is hard to image them all. Cosmetically, the rigs looks great (no scratches), but it does have lines on the display, like most. A "display repair kit" is included. In its original box for $160 plus shipping from Florida. I have two Kenwood TS-700 A, 2 meter Multimode transceivers for sale. The Kenwood TS-700A multimode transceiver provides 2 meter operation in FM, LSB, USB, AM and CW modes. Power output is rated at 10 watts. It covers the entire 2 meter band. Enhancements include RF gain, RIT, squelch, noise blanker and 44 fixed channels (11 per MHz band). Operation is from 120/220 VAC, or 13.8 VDC at 4 amps. Features: Multi-Mode RIT Noise Blanker On-Air Indicator Squelch AC/DC Operation I have two units available. The first looks very nice. The front is really great. All bulbs light, and the VFO is smooth. It produces from 11 to 12 W out. However, it only transmits in FM and USB. There is no power out in LSB or AM. Of course FM and USB is about all that is normally used on 2 meters, so it may not matter. The second unit looks good, but not quite as nice as the first one. It transmits in all modes, but I am 90% sure someone took a "golden screwdriver" to it. The power output is in the 18 to 20 watt range instead of 11 to 12 as it should be. This indicates some one has "tweaked" it. The frequency that it transmits and receives on is not the same as indicated. Basically, I think it needs a complete, accurate alignment, and then it would be great. Buy either one with paper work and 110 V AC power cord for $150 each. The DC power cord is not included. Buy both of them for $275. Yaesu FT-1900, 2 meter FM Transceiver: The ruggedly built Yaesu FT-1900R transceiver has strong receiver performance, covering 136 to 174 MHz. It has illuminated front panel keys and boasts 200 memories. There is also 10 channel NOAA weather receive. You get CTCSS and DCS Encoder and Decoder circuits. Keyboard entry of frequencies directly from microphone is supported. The supplied MH-48A6J DTMF hand mic is backlit. The FT-1900 requires 13.8 V DC at 11 Amps. Features: 200 Memories (6 Character) 8 Memory Banks 55/25/10/5 Watts Output APO - Automatic Power-Off ARS - Automatic Repeater Shift Busy Channel Lock-Out DTMF Memories CTCSS and DCS Encode/Decode CW Trainer Severe Weather Alert Backlit DTMF Mic This one works 100% and looks like new. It is still in its original box. With mic, power cord, mobile mount and manual for $100. I also have many other accessories available such as many different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs, HF and VHF/UHF antennas, connectors, miscellaneous accessories, etc. Just too many to list here.
