[Kenwood] TS-850

GD,

Looking for advise on a dead (actually two) TS-850sat.   One died during the WPX rtty contest with 10 minutes to go.   Gave a couple of fades (display panel died out) then completely died.

A friend gave me another TS-850s that he had picked up, but it was dead from the get-go.  Thought this was strange so swapped out the power supply and power cable but no go.   Other equipment on the power supply work fine.

Appreciate any pointers.
