[Kenwood] AUTO TUNE Connectors

I am assuming from the email that the "Auto Tune option"  mentioned 
implies tuning an outboard device. I see no mention of this in my 
manuals on my TS-590SG.

Is there a place I can find out the details of what this does and how it 
does it, so I can apply it to tuning and keeping on frequency, a  
motorized loop antenna capacitor?
