This is the speaker that has three degrees of filtering (Low cut, and two degrees of high cut), and also has switching to take two different radios. Although the SP-180 was designed to be used with the TS-180, it can be used with most any rig, as it is an 8 ohm speaker. This came from a 1994 silent key, and has been stored in an air conditioned closet since that time. It appears that it was never used. It even includes the two cables that go from a radio to the speaker, plus the original paper work and original box. An overzealous family member opened the box, and defaced it somewhat, resulting that I needed to tape the box. The speaker itself, and the foam packing, appears to be new. Buy this extraordinary speaker for only $120. Kenwood PS-30 power supply This 20 amp 13 V DC supply was originally made to go with the Kenwood TS-120/130 series of transceivers, but it also matches the TS-430/440, and is actually a much more rugged power supply than the PS-430 often used with the TS-430 or TS-440. It features large heat sinks and automatic overload reset. Ripple voltage is less than 20 mW at 13.8VDC 20 A. The PS-30 has a heavy duty power cord with the standard 6 pin molex connector as used by many Kenwood, Icom and some Yaesu rigs. It also has terminals on the back for lower current output, such as for a 2 meter or dual band rig. This one works fine and looks good as well. It includes paper work for $125. Linear Amp Switching Cable for Kenwood Rigs: This cable goes from a Kenwood transceiver to a linear amplifier to switch the amp from transmit to receive. One end has a DIN connector, as is used with most Kenwood rigs. The other end has an RCA phono plug, as used by most linear amplifiers. Before using this cable, please check the switching capabilities of your transceiver, and the requirements of your amplifier. This cable is for switching the relay. $15 DC Power Cable This is the heavy duty power cable as used on most of the Kenwood HF rigs, plus also many Icom, Alinco, and others. It has the 6 pin molex connector, with four pins used - two for plus and two for ground. The cable may not have ever been used. It looks good, and of course works fine. $22 DTMF Touch Tone Microphone: Kenwood MC-44 DM, DTMF Touch Tone Mic Used on many Kenwood rigs with round 8 pin mic plug. Includes up/down switches, and lock switch, along with the 16 digit DTMF pad. Excellent condition. $40 Kenwood "Soft Cases" SC-35 soft case For Kenwood TH-78 dual band HT. Looks like new. Only $12. And am gathering parts to put it to work with my 430S, But I have a question. I tried joining the TS-430 yahoo group but I guess it's been abandoned because need to be OK'ed to join and whoever is the moderator is dead at he wheel, anyway I ask here, I have a TS-430S and I just got a 2 meter transverter I'd like to gook up to it, but I am not sure on this question.. There I have read that when you plug in the connector into the transverter connection, that it disables the main HF power amps, bla bla bla, Now, is this disableing of the main HF system is it a mechanical operation similar to like the audio path in a headphone jack and a speaker, or is it an electrical method that causes the disabling?
