Well, one way you can check this that MIGHT work is to connect a 2.5 mH 
RF choke in series with the input test lead of your DVM, but make the 
connections as short as possible. The RF choke should block any RF, 
leaving the DC available, although due to the series resistance of the choke, 
it MAY be a bit lower than what is actually there.

Building a real RF probe is easy, if you are interested in the RF levels at that 
point. There are loads of plans on the net for this.

Although the test instruments required are often listed in the beginning of the 
section on alignment in many service manuals, not all are done that way. 
Even so, it is a good idea to check.

anyway. The rest is pretty much an "academic exercise" to satisfy your 
curiousity.
