[Kenwood] ts 2000

Does the auto tuner on the ts 2000 work in the 2 meter mode.? I can use it on hf, but cant seem to get it to work on 146.520. The manual doesn't say it doesn't work, but I go thru the steps for tuning and nothing happens/  JOhn W3BJ
