I was not complaining about all caps in his call sign  but only pointing out 
the fact that he also "shouts".

The asterisks are a good idea too,  or underline or use italics.

It all boils down to :  What difference does it make?  It is like turning 
off the TV if you don't like what is on - if you don't like the email delete 
it!

I notice (see the above attribution) that you, too, shouted
your callsign, Gene.  As I shall eventually shout mine.  Surely
you can't be serious in complaining about the use of capital
letters in a callsign!

FWIW (no shout intended), I find people sometimes use all-capped
words for emphasis.  I prefer to put *asterisks* around them
myself, but I figure it's a matter of personal preference.  Now,
if the entire posting is in caps...  well, then I suppose I'd
presume the originator was using an old ASR 33 to make the post.
