[Kenwood] recommendation regarding Kenwood TS 2000

I just obtained one that was re-manufactured by Kenwood.

The only thing I can even remotely find is that I actually need to 
upgrade the firmware.

I've even fed it into my Amp Supply LK-500ZB.

If you intend to do this type of operation, regardless of mode, SEE the 
Ameritron package listed below!

WARNING:  SS Radios cannot handle Heathkit SB-200 series or the above 
mentioned amplifiers!

*IF* any has an interest, the first thing to check, and maybe John even 
knows, is whether the RS-232 cable and the software is with it.
