[Kenwood] TS-940S meter slam mod?

Hello, reading the document by Jeff King, it turns out that the slamming behavioural should be caused by leaking capacitors
in the AGC time constants circuitry, specifically caps C128, C130 in the IF board. But the result is reported only by one guy.
It seems not confirmed by others people experience. At least a trial can be worth to do with no other risks.
