Use remote connector (7-pin DIN). Amp needs to be low current on the TS-430
relay (I forget 20mA?? max) or you might need a relay. ALC input from amp
also on this connector. Same connector used by the TS-440, and TS-850 and
others in case you want to get a pre-built one. Only difference being the
TS-430 does not have 12v on key on pin 7 (TS-430 has no contact). This is
nice to have if you need an external relay for the amp. Manual at Kenwood
(large file)
http://www.kenwoodusa.com/UserFiles/File/UnitedStates/Communications/AMA/Man
uals/TS-430.pdf and other places with a "TS-430 manual" search on Google. I
believe a search for "TS-430 Amp Control" or similar will probably give all
the where-for-all.

Subject: [Kenwood] keying leads out of TS-430S
I have a TS-430S in a location away from where I am (and manual with it).
I haven't used it with a final amp. Now, I want to do so.
For keying leads----where do they come out, and is the connector easily
obtainable?
