[Kenwood] TS-850 Audible Whine

Well folks,
I found an old post on google that shed some light on it, and found that I have 
a malady in the internal fan on the 850.  The high-freq. sound is because the 
fan will not turn unless given a little shove....and then once going, still has 
a high-freq audio squeal.  I heard it uses 8.5 volts ?  Anyway, I am oging to do 
some more troubleshooting on it.  Definitely need the fan turning on those 
finals!!!  Any further info on a replacement or fix would be appreciated!
