I've used it on the 940 and it did widen the audio a bit so I think it would work even better on the 950. I now have a 480 and it helps with that rig too. I'm using a Heil gold line microphone in the wide3 element position. The microphone and EQ would do more on a rig with wider transmit band width like the 590, but id does work to a degree on the narrower rigs too. 73. Joe.
