[Kenwood] TH-215 low volume

Thanks Clif,

The descriptions I've read about the problem with the broken volume
pot indicate that the volume is intermittent rather than low. I always
have audio and it is controlled by the volume control.

Also, the bracket and nuts specified in Kenwood service bulletin SB-944
"TH-205/215/415 Volume/Squelch Control Improvement" are installed
in this unit so breakage should be less likely.

I'll try testing the pot but I guess I have to get the IF unit off
first. I've taken the 3 screws out but the board still seems to be
stuck. Any ideas?

73, Don
