[Kenwood] TS-520S AVC problem

     No _slow_ avc.  I had stored this rig for a year or so 
and fired it up a couple of days ago.  It seems to me the 
AVC was working properly then but I am not sure.  Only the 
fast time constant seems to be working.  There is a 
transient when moving the AVC switch from fast to slow but 
no change in the timing.  I have not yet started to trouble 
shoot this, I am writing in case its a common problem and 
someone can give me a couple of hints. This is a nice little 
rig and I want to start using it.
