[Kenwood] TS-820S ills...again.

Well, my digital display is now showing 9.000, 19.000. and 29.000 only.

This began to show up intermittantly over the past few days, although as long as the radio 
was well warmed up, it occurred infrequently.

I turned it off last night, and when turning it on this morning, it is now permanently stuck.

The receiver and transmitter appear to be working correctly: signals are heard where the 
analog dial says they are, and the transmitter outputs on the correct frequencies too.

So far, the service manual has not been much help.

Ideas?
