Hi.
If the case to the thk2 is plastic, (I do not recognize the model
number) there are some solvents out there that will melt and fuse
the tic pieces together. I have repaired my Alinco DJ-580 case,
I used a pair of pointy tweezers to pick up a drop of REZENBOND
out of the bottle and put it into the crack in the case, the
plastic melted and fused together, and with the help of a couple
rubber bands to hold the case together until the liquid evaporated
(about an hour) the case was fine, just as solid as it was before
it cracked. but you have to be very careful with the this liquid
on clear plastic as to much liquid will screw up the clearness of
the plastic. There are some plastics that this solvent will not
dissolve, but for the high impact plastic walkie-talkie cases this
stuff is great.
it can be found at any store that sells Plexiglas or lexan comes
in bottles as small as two ounces. there are several different
brand names out there.
good luck
