[Kenwood] TS-130 Band Switch Alignment Part 2

Before I do any of that there is a more basic question I need answered.  
On any of the band switch wafers (2 generator and 1 amp after the 1st 
wafer), should the rotor spoke make contact with more than 1 stationary 
contact at a time?  The 1st wafer has a narrow rotor spoke while the 
other 3 wafers have wide spokes which can/could make 2 contacts at 
once.  I don't know if that is so more so 2 contacts can be made 
together or if it is for better contact on 1 contact and no 2 contacts 
should be made simultaneously.

My problem after that is the 1st rotor spoke is not quite properly 
aligned with the contacts when the switch clicks to a detent position.  
I don't know how the switch shaft is attached to the front panel gear 
box so I don't know if the shaft can be moved slightly in relation to 
the detents.  I really don't want to tear into the front panel if I 
don't have to.

As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the coupling.
