[Kenwood] TS2000 on VHF and UHF

I currently have a Kenwood 480 fore HF, and a fully loaded Yaesu 736R fore VHF. Fore convenience of having all in one box, I'm thinking of getting the Kenwood 2000. However I don't want to trade degraded performance fore convenience, and I've heard the Yaesu 736r beats the kenwood on receive. I know this is a Kenwood list, but has anyone had experience with both the 736r and the Kenwood 2000 to give me a comparison. The Yeasu is still a very sought after rig. Maybe I'd be sorry if I did this. Thanks 73. Joe.
