Not to insult anyone by stating the obvious but power down the rig and let
the h.v. charge bleed off then do something like tape the HV leads and caps
off to heavy insulators like a couple of big ceramic standoffs you can stick
in there as weights to hold them away, and then put your probes in with the
rig powered off before checking anything.

I think Gary was kidding sort of but we don't need a SK.
