[Kenwood] TH-72A

I subscribed here hoping that I could get some answers regarding the TH-72A radio.........but going thru archives don't see anything. 

Kenwood people suggested to go here.Since doing a firmware update to the radio my computer successfully downloads the drivers but when connecting the transceiver the VCP drivers fail.And are not recognized in my device manager.The vcp bridge does show as in "another device" but not in my comports.So not sure if this is a pc issue or not.'Ive done everything under the sun so far (disabling firewall,updating drivers,rebooting,etc.).
